You know how you see an awesome card on someone's blog, and you think, "I can make that" - but when you do, it never looks as good as the original? That's I often feel about my cards, but I'm happy to say that this one I made yesterday is the exception. I saw these great monochromatic cards with Cuttlebug embossing templates on
Glenda's blog, and I loved them. I needed a happy birthday card for my former boss, and here's my take on Glenda's cards.

The 2nd card involves more playing with my favorite Christmas present - the Top Note die. (My Cuttlebug really got a workout!) My college roommate had a baby girl a few weeks ago, so this card is for her.

Enjoy the last day of the long weekend!

Lovely cards Kelly, especially the embossed one. I have both those CB folders so I might have a go at that style.
