Friends card

The inspiration for this card came from a card by Gretchen Barron that I saw on Beate's Yahoo Group. (I save the ones I really like for future inspiration - like this!) I hope the person getting this card likes it. :)

Mojo Monday 83

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch to create one of my Mother's Day cards. I'm not sure if it'll be for my mom, mother-in-law, or one of my grandmothers yet, but I love the combination of pink, orange, and brown. Have a great Sunday.

Playing with the Girls - Part 2

Here are the last of my shares from yesterday's play day. I was glad to get some cards made to add to my stash so I don't have to scramble to make them at the last minute. (I really should do that more often.) Have a great weekend.

Playing with the Girls - Part 1

I had a great time yesterday playing with my girls from work and celebrating the first day of our Spring Break. For 7 hours of crafty time, you'd think I would have made more than 13 cards, but I guess that's what happens when you get to talking and laughing. Anyway, here are a few of my favorites from the day. (The paper on the 1st 2 cards came from the new Spring matstack.)

Mojo Monday 81

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch to make my mom's Easter card. A little clear Sticles on his tail, and this bunny is all set to hop off to Mom. Have a great Easter, ladies!

Flat Stanley at the Air and Space Museum

Flat Stanley also had an adventure to the Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. (Can you tell we had company? My sister-in-law and nephew are here from Florida, so we're having fun being tourists, and Flat Stanleyis tagging along.) Click here to find out more information about the Flat Stanley project.

Of course, Flat Stanley's first friend in Maryland was Daisy, my puppy, who just had to check him out. The other pictures show his adventures at the museum, having fun with my nephew on the different exhibits and drinking a Coke at McDonalds.

Flat Stanley at the Aquarium

Since we've been chatting about Flat Stanley on our SBS-27 group, I thouht I'd share his adventures. Flat Stanley had a great day at the Aquarium in Baltimore yesterday. He saw the dolphin show, all of the exhibits, and played in with the bubble tubes. He finished the day with a favorite Maryland treat - crabs!
