After shopping for the better part of 13 hours yesterday, I've been organizing all of the gifts from the Black Friday madness. I wanted to dress up the gift card I bought my sister-in-law, but since they live in Alaska, I needed something I could ship easily. Below are pictures of the front and back of the ornament gift card holder I made her; check out the easy video directions here from ChicnScratch on You Tube. Next time, I think I'll make it with my Nestabilities scallop. Fun, fun! Happy Christmas crafting....

RAK from Marge
What a great surprise after a long Monday to come home and find a present in my mailbox from my SBS8 sister, Marge! She made me a cute thank you card for the goodies I sent her and even used the stamp on the front of the card. Too cute.
She also sent me some adorable stamped images of shoes to go with the great quotes from my new SU "Humor in High Heels" set. Thanks, Marge. You made my day!

Card-Making Party
So I took my sample cards, 4 bags of supplies, and lots of excitement to my friend Wendi's house yesterday for a full-day of card-making with the girls. I made about 25 cards and laughed a lot. I ended up adding a piece of cotton ball to the end of the Santa hat to complete the card, so here's the Christmas card (or some variation) that most people on our list will get this year.
I also made a couple cards with our favorite Daisy picture from this year. I couldn't resist!

more Christmas card ideas
I've been playing with some more Christmas card ideas, and while I may make some different ones for different people, I think I have a new favorite. The first one is ok but not "the one" - I do like the pink patterned paper, though. (It's from the new DCWV Christmas Stack.)
Here's my current favorite. (Ignore the glare from the flash.) I did the card first without the hat, and I knew it needed something else. Then I was reminded of Wendi's suggestion - take a picture of Daisy in a Santa hat. Since she doesn't like to cooperate, this Santa hat stamp was a great solution and the perfect size for her head. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Christmas Photo Cards
Masculine BD Cards
My father-in-law and step-father-in-law both have birthdays this week, so I made these masculine cards to send out tomorrow. I used PageMaps sketches as inspiration, and I have to decide which of the 2 cards to enter in the PageMaps card contest. (I think I choose the first one. My hubby chooses the second one - which do you think?)
Weekend Sketch #64
I made this birthday card for my friend Tina using the sketch from Beate's Weekend Challege and some fun new paper I just bought last week. New paper, Stickles, and sketch always inspire me! Have a great Sunday, ladies.
