Nestabilites Storage

Up until now, I wasn't really happy with the way I was storing my Nestabilities. I had them in a Ziploc bag for a while, but they were hard to find what I wanted, and they kept getting mixed up. Then I had them in a mini photo album, which was a good idea, but one of my sets was too big and stuck out of the top (when it wasn't falling out of the sleeve).

Yesterday, I saw this idea at a local scrapbook store when I attended their make and take day. (Check out the pictures below.) The lady bought magnetic sheets that are self-adhesive on one side (from the Walmart craft department) and put them inside clear CD jewel cases. I love it! Now they're all organized, I can see them easily, and I can grab the case I want when I want it. Just thought I'd share. :)

I made these 3 thank you cards for 3 wonderfully supportive women. The blue card on the far right is based on the Card Patterns sketch #59 (turned on its side). Thanks for looking.

More sketch challenges

As you can tell from this post and the 2 previous ones, I had a productive day scrapbooking and card making with my friend Amy. (Thanks for visiting, Amy! Come back soon.)

This first card is for this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge.

The second card is based on the sketch below from Stamping 411. Enjoy your Sunday night.

The twins' BD

I made these cards for Lou's twin niece and nephew celebrating their birthday this week. The first card is based on the sketch below from the Technostamper blog. It gave me a great excuse to use my Nestabilites.

The second card is based on the sketch from Taylored Expressions. It uses my favorite paper from Basic Grey, which always inspires me.

Mother's Day

I made this page based on the sketch below from Got Sketch? Nothing like a great sketch to help you think outside of the box. Enjoy your Sunday night, friends.

Card Patterns #52

I took the Card Patterns Sketch #52 and put my own twist on it. I love this new patterned paper I picked up at Michaels this weekend.

CPS 155

I used the CPS sketch #155 to create this birthday card with new Basic Grey paper. Fun, fun. I always find a bad day is a little better after some time spent in my scrapbooking room. Happy Monday, friends.

SSSC56 Sketch

My friend from work loves Daisy, so I had to put the pup's picture on the front of her birthday card. I used the Sweet Sunday sketch as inspiration.

SSS43 Sketch

I made this birthday card for a friend from work using new Basic Grey paper and this week's Sweet Stop Sketch.

Basic Grey Calendar - part 2

Basic Grey Calendar - part 1

This project combines 3 of my favorite things - Daisy pictures, Basic Grey scrapbooking paper, and a great sale. I got this calendar kit for $4 instead of the original $20 in mid-January. I just finished putting it together for my mom, who always says she loves her Daisy calendars. Enjoy!

Mojo Monday #124

I made this birthday card for my college big sister, Susan, using the Mojo Monday sketch #124. Since we have over 20" of snow, I'm headed back to the craft table. Happy weekend.

Crystal Bracelets

Last weekend, I took another jewelry-making class with my aunt. I made the all-black bracelet (in the second picture) during the class and the other 2 this week. My favorite is the pink-and-black one with the flower toggle clasp.

Multiple Cupcakes

OK, so after being teased that I couldn't make more than 1 of the same card, I tried to make 4 of the same birthday card. This is a close as I came. They're really similar - does that count? :)

Card Patterns Sketch 49

I used Card Patterns sketch 49 to make this Valentine. Gotta love that Basic Grey paper!
