Here's this week's Mojo Monday sketch and my card based on it. I love using their sketches because it gets me out of creative ruts and makes me use my supplies in different ways. Thanks for the inspiration!

Upsy Daisy card set

At the end of September, I'm selling my cards at a craft show for the first time. I'm really nervous because I'm not sure how many sets (and individual cards to make) and how much to charge, but I've been working away and am really excited. Butterfly Note

I borrowed Wendi's "Garden Whimsy" set and am loving it. I made this simple, monochromatic card for my college big sister. Since she now has 2 little boys, I figured she could use a little pink in her world. Thanks for looking.

Flowerpot Card

I've seen a bunch of these flowerpot cards and finally got motivated to try one myself. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Here's the link to a tutorial in case you want to try. Have a great week!

Quick cards

I needed a couple quick birthday cards, so I pulled out the Glitter Sweet Stack from DCWV for the first 2 cards. The paper was so cute and perfect for these cards. I also had fun with my new(ish) edge punch. Gotta love scallops. Have a great end of your weekend.

Productive Morning

This morning was an impromtu (but quite productive) card-making session. The first 3 cards all used stamps from my friend, so it's always fun to play with things I don't own. :) Enjoy!

Crafty Sunday

I've been making cards (and running to Michaels) since I got up this morning, and I'm ready for a nap! My colleague Katie is a 4th of July baby, so this first card is for her birthday.


The 2nd card is one of 19 I made this morning. My friend Amy from work is getting married in a few weeks, so I made her this card for her wedding and 18 similar ones that say "thank you" instead of "cherish" that she can use for special thank you notes. She's a crafty girl, too, so I know she'll appreciate them.


I also made a set of baby boy cards for Lou's step-sister, who's having a baby in September. They're just like the one I posted here, so I didn't take another picture. Hope you're enjoying your weekend, whatever you're doing.

Celebrate birthday card

I made this card for my mother-in-law's birthday next week. I like the extra touch that the clear Stickles add to the center of the flowers. The second picture is the inside of the card. Have a great day.

Mojo Monday 88

Here's my card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch. It's a belated birthday card for my friend's husband. I don't know if he'll appreciate it, but I know she will. Happy day!

Annapolis

My friend Beth came over to scrapbook today, and while we did more chatting than scrapping, I did manage to complete this and 2 other layouts (plus a few cards).

I made this layout using a Pagemaps sketch from May 2009. (I just love pagemaps - great sketches for scrapbook pages, cards, and more.)

Negative Cuttlebug Technique

I saw this card from Stephanie Atterbury on Beate's Yahoo Group, and I was inspired to try it. I went so this thread on Splitcoast Stampers to learn how to do the Negative Cuttlebug Technique, and it was really easy. One of these cards is a belated birthday card for a friend, and the other is a "thinking of you" card for a friend whose father is sick.
