Thursday pics
I had a ball playing with my Thursday photos and adding effects on http://pixlr.com. Here are some of the highlights.
Bear had unzipped her PJs when I went in to get her in the morning
Feeding herself yogurt (what a big girl!)
Riding in the carseat with Daisy
Morning kisses for Grammie
Loving pictures of her cousin
Popsicle time.
Bear's shoes - size 5

Wednesday evening pics
I'm doing a few days of "A Week in the Life" as I can do it. Here are some highlights from this evening's pictures:
Bear and Daddy hug (love Daddy's smile here)
Mommy and Bear hanging out while Daddy finishes dinner
The greatest smile
Leave me alone...I'm eating ice cream. Not sharing.
Wearing Daddy's hat - love the big eyes.
Daisy dog!

A Day in the Life
I've been doing the Project Life approach to scrapbooking this year and loving it. I'm actually pretty caught up with one page per week. Now, Ali Edwards inspired me to do my own version of her current project, "A Week in the Life." I started small, though, so here's my version, "A Day in the Life" from this past Saturday. I made a photo collage with Instagram pics in Photoshop, and I'm happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for introducing me to Project Life, Cari, and thanks for the inspiration, Ali!

Fast and Fabulous
I made this birthday card for my friend Tina using all Stampin Up products. The flowers are from one of my new sets (Fast and Fabulous), and I borrowed the script background stamp from Wendi. Nothing like a productive, impromptu stamping session to accomplish exactly what you needed to do!
The inspiration for this card came from 2 I saw on Splitcoast Stampers: this one and this one.

Grandmother's BD gift
These are my latest creations, all part of my grandmother's BD gift set of cards. The first one is based on a card from the Autumn 2010 Take Ten magazine. I used a different border punch but was happy with the way this one looked in layers.
My other grandma passed away last week, and I made these cards to write thank you notes for friends who came to the viewing or funeral. I like simplicity of the design and the pop that embossing the tree gives the card.
My friend Amy and I went to the rubber stamp show here in town last weeked and bought the template and brushes to make this card base. I had fun combining colors, but I couldn't get a clean image from this stamp with the template. Oh well.

Baby thank you notes
My husband's mother and her family threw me a baby shower this past weekend, so I made these cards for the thank you notes. The paper is by The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby - love it! Sorry the pictures aren't that good. I had already sealed the envelopes before I uploaded the pics and realized they weren't great. Oops.

Clean and Simple (with COPICS!)
I did it.
Finally.
I've been admiring everyone's Copic markers for a while, but I resisted starting a collection because they're so expensive. I've played with them at the local stamp store a few times during Demo Days and can't believe how well they work. My friend Amy also got some Copics, so after playing with hers too, I decided to jump on board! I'm starting with 7 markers and figured I'll build the collection slowly.
Below are 3 clean and simple cards I made for my Grandma's gift set. They're pretty basic, but I got to play with my new markers, so that was half the fun.
